White Sands Beach Estates is located just west of Kuakini Heights between Alii Hwy and Highway 11, west of Alii Heights in North Kona. Most of the lots are around 10,000 ft.² with homes between 1200 ft.² and 2000 ft.². The majority of homes are two or three bedrooms with two and three bathrooms. Several homes also feature one or two car garages. Many homes have backyard fruit trees, a few offer swimming pools, and some feature spacious decks with coastal views. Most of the homes were built in the mid-1980s.

Residents of White Sands Beach Estates are part of the North Kona school district and are assigned to the Kahakai elementary school, which is about 1.6 miles from this community, the Konawaena middle school and the Konawaena high school, about 6 ½ miles away.

Downtown Kailua Kona is about 5 to 10 minutes and the Kona International Airport is less than 20 minutes. The closest Beach is Magic Sands Beach Park, but parking is limited. You’re just minutes away from farmers markets, and depending on where the home is, you can walk to many of the parks right down by the beach. The Keauhou Shopping Center is just a couple of minutes north and provides an easy access road to Highway 11. This community is not a through Street so most of the traffic is from locals and residents.

One benefit to homeowners in White Sands Beach Estates is that there are no HOA dues or fees.

Due to the age of the homes in White Sands Beach Estates, you’re likely to find newer listings with updated materials such as Kona wood floors, new cabinets, marble counters, and updated appliances. Homes are priced between $400,000 and $1.5 million, so there’s quite a range in this community. This is a non-gated community and according to listings there are currently no homeowner association fees.
